UF Membranes

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a type of membrane filtration, in which hydrostatic pressure forces a liquid against a semipermeable membrane. A semipermeable membrane is a thin layer of material, having the function of separating substances when a driving force is applied to the membrane.

UF membrane has the unique properties of high separation efficiency, low driving pressure, and low operating temperature. It is widely used for water purification. It can separate large materials, such as colloids, particulates, fats, bacteria, and proteins, while allow other low molecular and weight molecular to pass through the membrane.

Ro Agua is the largest commercial membrane supplier, offering a wide range of standard components that are used by water treatment plants around the world. Except for the ultrafiltration membranes, Ro Agua also provides MBR membranes, and can provide different specifications and sizes according to customer’s requirements.
